Is it safe to watch with your kids?

Now that Emily in Paris season 3 is available to stream on Netflix, you’re probably getting your snacks and drink of choice ready to binge-watch the entire season. But before you hit play on the show’s title page, we want to make sure you’re aware of the parents guide and age rating in case you’re thinking about watching it with kids around.

Emily in Paris season 3 picks up where the season 2 finale left off. Emily Cooper is stuck trying to decide whether to stay at Savoir with Madeline or join Sylvie and the other former employees at Sylvie’s newly formed marketing firm. Emily is also at a crossroads in her relationship with Alfie. Alfie has to head back to London because of his job, and Emily has to decide if she wants to pursue a long-distance relationship to make things work between them.

As expected, things work themselves out, but it isn’t a quick fix. Actually, Emily finds herself in more drama as the season continues. But nothing tops the shocking season finale. Once you get to the final moments of the season finale, I promise your jaw will drop at what’s revealed.

But we don’t want to spoil anything for you! Instead, let’s discuss whether or not the third season is kid-friendly.

Emily in Paris season 3 is rated TV-MA, meaning it’s specifically designed to be viewed by mature audiences only. If you’ve been faithfully watching the romantic comedy series, you’d already know that previous seasons were given the same maturity rating. It was given this age rating for strong language, partial nudity, and smoking. There is also sexual content, frequent alcohol use, passionate kissing, and sexual jokes and references.

Overall, the third season may be unsuitable for ages under 17. Therefore, we strongly recommend not watching this show around younger kids. Instead, we suggest putting on a kids’ TV show or movie for them to watch while you binge Emily in Paris season 3 to your heart’s content.
