The Crown’s latest episodes have put Kate Middleton’s relationship with ex-boyfriend Rupert Finch into the limelight. The two briefly dated in college before Catherine, Princess of Wales struck up a romance with Prince William.

Although the royals’ romance began very early on at the University of St Andrews, they did date a few other people before getting together. Who is Kate Middleton’s ex-boyfriend Rupert Finch?
Rupert Finch was Kate Middleton’s classmate at St Andrews. As per Hello Magazine, he now works as a lawyer in London and is married to Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs. Lady Natasha is the daughter of the Marquess of Reading. She reportedly is also the founder of one of Kate’s favorite fashion brands, Beulah.
After graduating from the University of St. Andrews, Rupert attended the College of Law (present-day University of Law) in Guildford.
Despite his history with Kate, there were no hard feelings between them, as he was invited to Kate and Prince William‘s royal wedding in 2011.

Harry Blakelock
Hello Magazine reports before Kate met Prince William, she dated her Marlborough College classmate Harry Blakelock. The future Queen parted ways with Harry when she left for St Andrew’s but was reportedly heartbroken over her breakup.
The Mirror reports Harry tied the knot with a classmate of Kate’s and is now a partner at the independent insurance broker, Lockton.
Willem Marx
Willem was another one of Kate’s classmates at Marlborough College. The Prince William look-alike is now a CBS News correspondent. He was also among the attendees at Kate and William’s royal wedding.
Henry Ropner
When Kate and William took a break from one another in 2007, she reportedly briefly dated Henry Ropner. He is the son of businessman John Ropner and one of William’s friends from Eton.
