Keri Russell starred in The WB college drama series Felicity as its title character Felicity Porter for each of its four seasons. The series also starred Scott Foley as Noel and Scott Speedman as Ben in one of the most iconic television love triangles of all time. Unfortunately, Felicity isn’t available to stream on Netflix, but all four seasons are streaming on Hulu.
Russell made a high-profile return to television dramas with the FX spy thriller The Americans in 2013. The series lasted for six critically acclaimed seasons and landed the actress three Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. She also met her husband Matthew Rhys on the series! Unfortunately, The Americans isn’t on Netflix, but it’s on Hulu.
In 2007, Keri Russell starred in the comedy-drama film Waitress, written and directed by Adrienne Shelley. Waitress earned overwhelming praise and was also a modest box office hit. Russell was notoriously snubbed for major awards recognition for her performance in the movie. Years later, the movie spawned the successful Broadway musical of the same name. Currently, the movie isn’t streaming on Netflix but can be streamed for free on YouTube.
The comedy-horror thriller Cocaine Bear, directed by Elizabeth Banks, proved a modest hit with fans and critics alike. Who can resist a title as enticing as that? Russell stars in the film as Sari, a nurse and mother, on the run from the cocaine-fueled bear. As of its theatrical release in February 2023, it’s not expected to stream on Netflix. But as it’s produced by Universal Pictures, fans should expect to be able to stream the movie on Peacock.
