Paralyzed bride, Chelsie Hill is expecting her first child with Jay Bloomfield
Chelsie Hill, the bride who is known for her touching wedding, made a big announcement to her fans and well-wishers.
The 30-year-old who is the founder of the wheelchair dance team The Rollettes revealed that she is 15 weeks pregnant with her first child.
In a recent interview, she announced the big news the day before the start of the Rollettes’ 10th annual disability empowerment event in Los Angeles.
The pro dancer, who was paralyzed in a 2010 car accident at the age of 17, said:
”It’s a really special weekend for us.”
”I’m really thankful for all the ups and downs, because it got us to where we are today.”
After the unfortunate incident, she channeled her energy and hope into something positive and later formed The Rollettes, a wheelchair dance team that helps promote disability representation and female empowerment.

Chelsie walked down the aisle with leg braces
Hill who married Jay in September 2021, surprised him by walking down the aisle using leg braces and a walker.
Talking about how she’d dreamt of walking down the aisle as a bride, she said:
“I want to stress that there’s nothing wrong with sitting down in your chair.”
“But for me growing up, I always imagined myself walking down the aisle.”
It was during their trip to Las Vegas in May that the pair learnt about their pregnancy.
Chelsie skipped her period, so she decided to do a pregnancy test on Mother’s Day.
Hill was pregnant.
The soon- to- be mom said:
”I was in shock.”
Jay who is going to be a father for the first time revealed:
“It was an awesome way to find out.”
Despite having many difficulties in life, Chelsie kept her head high and always hoped for the best.
The dancer said:
“To be able to celebrate the 10-year [anniversary] with being newly married and having this child, it’s really surreal,”
”Reaching this point in life feels like a dream come true,”
Bloomfield who is equally excited about being a dad said:
“I’ve been looking forward to being a dad for a while, so I’m looking forward to everything,”
“I’m also scared of everything, but I’m excited.”
He continued:
“People are asking if I want a boy or a girl, I don’t care,”
”I just want a happy, healthy baby.”
