People have claimed this year’s Super Bowl result was rigged after the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers.
Angry 49ers fans have claimed the result of this year’s event was faked. The Chiefs won 25-22 after a nail-biting touchdown in the final seconds. It was the second time in Super Bowl history the game had gone into overtime and was the third time the winners had become victorious in just five years, but they’ve claimed the rings four times. The Kansas City Chiefs won after a touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes to Mecole Hardman Jr. However, it didn’t always seem like it would go that way.
Angry Super Bowl fans say it was rigged
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) fans of the opposing team have expressed their belief this year’s Super Bowl result was rigged. The outcome was looking to be a loss for Travis Kelce’s team.
At halftime, the game was 10-3 to the 49ers, but things began to change and, after extra time, the Chiefs managed to bag a win.
But some people weren’t convinced they deserved the Vince Lombardi trophy.

However, others were highly entertained by those claiming it was faked and made it clear they thought the idea was silly.
“The 49ers could cry and say the Super Bowl was “rigged” and refuse to accept the outcome. But they won’t, because they’re functioning adults. See how that works?” wrote one person.
Another penned: “All the usual suspects saying that the Super Bowl was rigged [rolling on the floor laughing emoji]. Is this our life now? Every time they don’t get their way with something, it’s “rigged”?”
A third brought Taylor Swift into the conversation and said: “Now why are streets saying the Super Bowl is rigged??? Let me remind you, the Chiefs are the defending champions. Just because your team didn’t win, doesn’t mean it’s rigged. And bringing down Taylor?? Y’all are weird [skull emoji].”
Travis’ team winning may be due to his good luck charm – and it isn’t Taylor, 34.
Travis Kelce’s beard is his good luck charm
There could be another reason the Chiefs were able to lift the trophy last night (February 11) and it involves Travis’ facial hair. His older brother, 36-year-old Jason, quizzed home about it during their latest podcast episode.
He said: “Dude, what is going on with your beard right now, by the way? We gotta talk about this. It’s long,” to which Travis responded: “It’s growing, putting in the work. It’s been rolling, baby.”
The beau of music star Taylor then revealed he hadn’t shaved it “since before Christmas.”
“[It’s] an ode to my hockey roots, it’s an ode to the ups and downs of the season. I just feel like when I look in the mirror, I just feel like …” Travis said as Jason asked “Rugged?” Travis said yes, and it was “like I’ve been working for something, like I’ve been focused on something.”
“I haven’t been worried about anything but getting s*** done,” said Travis, “I feel the power of it.”
“I’ve been playing way better since I’ve been growing it,” the celebrity said.
