If you’re in the mood for something of the horror genre, you should check out Red Rose, arriving on Netflix on Feb. 15. Based on the trailer, it definitely looks like one of those shows that will constantly keep you guessing while watching it. So I think it’s safe to say that you’ll be thoroughly entertained throughout the entire first season.
Red Rose is a British horror series created by the Clarkson twins, Michael and Paul Clarkson, and produced by the same production company behind Sex Education, Eleven. It originally aired on BBC in 2022, and now it’s set to have its premiere on Netflix.
It’s about a group of teens who must band together to stop a dangerous phone app that threatens them with deadly consequences if they do not meet its demands.

Isis Hainsworth leads the cast as the protagonist, Rochelle “Roch” Mason. Roch is the leader of the group of friends who call themselves the “Dickheads.” You might know Hainsworth from her previous roles in Emma., Misbehavior, Harlots and Wanderlust. Her most recent roles were in the Netflix teen comedy Metal Lords and the Amazon Prime movie Catherine Called Birdy.
Amelia Clarkson plays Wren Davies, Roch’s loyal high school best friend. She’s best known for her role as Aelflaed in Netflix’s The Last Kingdom. However, she’s also had roles in Jane Eyre, The Assets, Our Zoo, Knightfall and Poldark.
