As expected, the fourth season of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman was very entertaining.
The new season explored the lives of various celebrities that we all certainly know and love. We learned a little more about what Grammy Award-winner Cardi B’s life was like growing up in Washington Heights. We also found out which artists Billie Eilish looked up to as a kid, some of which made her the prolific musician that she is today. And who could forget getting to know how The Adam Project star Ryan Reynolds makes a delicious pizza from scratch? Truly, the fourth season was one for the books.
Now that season 4 has come and gone, fans are dying to know if they can expect a new season of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction to release in the future. We tell you everything we know so far below.
Today, Netflix has yet to renew (or cancel) My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.
The lack of news regarding a new season can be attributed to the fact that the latest season is still very fresh on the site, having been released on Friday, May 20. Perhaps as time passes, we will get closer to some renewal news. But until then, we must wait until Netflix gives Letterman the green light.
Although David Letterman has managed to get the crème de la crème of Hollywood as special guests on his show, we know there are still many celebrities fans are dying to see in the Netflix series.
For example, we’re positive that, somewhere out there, there’s a group of fans desperately waiting to see Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland as a special guest. After all, he’s charming, well-versed in giving interviews and a famous name that isn’t fading out anytime soon. He would be perfect for season 5!
The same can be said for Zendaya, Adele, Britney Spears, Harry Styles, Michael B. Jordan, Tom Cruise and just about any of the most talented stars of our day.
With all of these celebrities still blowing us away every single day, we predict at least one of them will appear in season 5. Who it will be, though, is anyone’s guess.
